【天天播資訊】Great Success of PYP Spartan Race & Charity Market!

On October 21, wehad a fun and adventurous obstacle course.

10月21日，PYP的孩子們參加了一場有趣的競賽。

Students ineach class were divided into their house colors for the race. We gathered together in the gym at 1 p.m. where, we carefully listened to the instructions and couldn’t wait to get going!

孩子們根據(jù)他們所在的學(xué)院分成了紅、黃、藍(lán)、綠四組。下午1點(diǎn)時(shí)我們集合到體育館，認(rèn)真聽講今天競賽的流程，我們都迫不及待想要趕緊開始！

After understanding the instructions and schedule, we went to the playground. We sweated a lot in the sunshine! We were crossing obstacles, jumping grids, climbing, and flipping tires. We really enjoyed the varied obstacles. Most importantly, although the whole course was long and challenging, all of us completed the race with the encouragement of our teachers. Thank you for encouraging and supporting us!

當(dāng)我們了解了規(guī)則和流程后，我們來到操場，在明媚下的陽光下?lián)]灑汗水：跨障礙物，跳格子，攀登，滾輪胎等等。我們非常喜歡這些趣味性的運(yùn)動。更重要的是，盡管整個(gè)賽道很長，我們所有人都在老師的鼓勵下跑完了整個(gè)賽道。謝謝老師們的鼓勵和支持！

After the obstaclerace, wehada charity market in the gym. Our parents brought some home-made food and accessories to sell. Some of my friends sold books that they used when they were younger. I think selling books is a good thing, first it is environmentally responsible and second it is a transferof knowledge, because all good things should be shared! This was also a fundraising opportunity. All the money raised at the market will be donated to the Suzhou Animal Shelter. And so far, we have raised 6535.3 RMB from the charity market！

競賽結(jié)束后，我們在體育館進(jìn)行了義賣活動。爸爸媽媽們帶了一些自制的食物和飾品。我的一些朋友們還將他們小時(shí)候讀過的書拿出來義賣。我認(rèn)為賣書是一件很有意義的事情，一是很環(huán)保，二是因?yàn)檫@是知識的傳承，因?yàn)楹玫臇|西值得被分享！這同時(shí)也是一次義賣的機(jī)會，我們義賣所得的善款將捐贈與蘇州市小動物保護(hù)志愿者協(xié)會。目前，我們已經(jīng)從義賣活動籌集了6535.3元人民幣！

What we weremost looking forward to wasthe raffle! Raffle prizes included stationery and sports goods provided by parents, bonuses of 10 to 100 house points, extra hours given for recess, and the most attractive one was NO HOMEWORK FOR A WEEK! We were so excited when our house mates were picked house point’s prize and we just couldn’t believe that all the extra recess and no homework prizes went to Grade 3B!! so lucky!

我們最最期待的是抽獎環(huán)節(jié)。獎品有由家長提供的文具、體育用品等，還有10到100的學(xué)院加分、休息時(shí)間加時(shí)和最吸引我們的一周沒有作業(yè)！當(dāng)我們的學(xué)院朋友被幸運(yùn)抽中時(shí)，我們都很興奮。還有我們最難以置信的是，休息時(shí)間加時(shí)和減免作業(yè)最后都被3B班的同學(xué)們抽中了！！太幸運(yùn)了！

Finally, Mr. Ashley announced the ranking of the relay race. Congratulations to the Yellow House winning first place, withthe fastest group being Grade 4 Yellow House - 5min 38 seconds, hooray! Great thanks to all of our lovely teachers and parents! And well done Elementary School!

最后，Ashley老師公布了競賽的排名。恭喜YellowHouse獲得第一名，時(shí)間最快的一組是四年級的YellowHouse，僅用了5分38秒！CISK的小學(xué)部這次做的很棒！同時(shí)也感謝我們所有可愛的老師和有愛的家長促成了本次活動取得圓滿成功！
