      House System at ISA Tianhe 愛莎天河學(xué)院制 | 在多元文化社區(qū)中成長

      ISA Tianhe house system exists to help students and staff to develop a sense of identity and belonging. It gives students and staff the opportunity to be part of a community that extends outside of their classroom or office, offering chances to experience friendship, support and teamwork whilst contributing in friendly competition across the school.

      愛莎天河學(xué)校成立學(xué)院制,讓學(xué)生和員工在社區(qū)中獲得認(rèn)同感和歸屬感。學(xué)生和員工以學(xué)院為單位參與活動(dòng),跨越了班級或部門之間的界限,增進(jìn)社區(qū)成員之間的溝通與互動(dòng),并進(jìn)一步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作能力和適應(yīng)能力。

      The house system is a traditional feature of schools in the United Kingdom. The House is not just an educational entity – what they provide students with is a centre of sporty, communicative and habitable activities. The biggest advantage of the house system is to provide students with a sense of belonging and supportive services from health care to learning. Students can make friends with different backgrounds and interests in a variety of house activities. Up to now, the house system has been widely used in many top schools and universities around the world.

      ISA Tianhe implements the house system to enhance communication within the community. The school has four houses. They are Panda House, Tiger House, Leopard House and Dragon House, which resonates with the qualities and values of inclusiveness, courage, wisdom and confidence. Each house has its own representative animal, colour, flag and uniform.

      愛莎天河結(jié)合學(xué)校多元的校園特色實(shí)施學(xué)院制以增進(jìn)社區(qū)交流,設(shè)立了四大學(xué)院,分別是熊貓學(xué)院、老虎學(xué)院、獵豹學(xué)院和龍學(xué)院,呼應(yīng)包容、勇氣、智慧和自信等品質(zhì)和價(jià)值觀。每個(gè)學(xué)院有專屬的代表性動(dòng)物、代表色、院旗和院服。

      Like people in the Harry Potter series, every student and staff of ISA Tianhe will be assigned to a house when they join the ISA Tianhe family. Members of the same house can be students from different grades and classes or staff from different departments. In daily school life, students and staff will attend rich sports, academic and artistic activities to enhance communication and exchange between houses, and build a warm, friendly and multicultural community.

      就像《哈利·波特》中一樣,每一個(gè)愛莎天河學(xué)生和員工在加入愛莎天河大家庭時(shí)都將被分配到自己所屬的學(xué)院。同一個(gè)學(xué)院的成員可以是來自不同年級、不同班級的學(xué)生或不同部門、不同職能的員工。在校園生活中,學(xué)生和員工將以學(xué)院為單位進(jìn)行豐富的體育、學(xué)術(shù)和藝術(shù)活動(dòng),增進(jìn)學(xué)院間的溝通和交流,構(gòu)建一個(gè)溫馨有愛、多元融合的愛莎天河社區(qū)。

      Each house accumulates points throughout the year based on student participation in all aspects of student life. Tokens are awarded by teachers when they see students exhibiting outstanding efforts, academic achievement and exemplary behaviour. These tokens are added up each week to determine a weekly winner and all scores are recorded so at the end of the year the House with the most accumulated points will be our ‘House Champions’.

      學(xué)院采用積分制來激勵(lì)各學(xué)院間的良性競爭,促進(jìn)學(xué)生成長。分?jǐn)?shù)積累貫穿于整個(gè)學(xué)年校園生活的各個(gè)方面。當(dāng)學(xué)生在學(xué)術(shù)、行為和活動(dòng)參與方面表現(xiàn)出積極性或取得一定進(jìn)步和成就時(shí),學(xué)生即可為學(xué)院贏得一定的積分。學(xué)校每周對學(xué)院積分進(jìn)行統(tǒng)計(jì)并選出本周獲勝者。學(xué)年結(jié)束時(shí),積累分?jǐn)?shù)最多的學(xué)院會(huì)在全校頒獎(jiǎng)大會(huì)上獲得愛莎杯。

      The establishment of the house system endows each student with a specific identity and group, which brings a strong sense of belonging to the students. At the same time, it allows students to have more opportunities to communicate with others in a warm and loving environment, work together to achieve common goals, and enhance their sense of community pride.

      學(xué)院制的設(shè)立賦予每位學(xué)生一個(gè)特定的身份和群體,給學(xué)生帶來強(qiáng)烈的歸屬感的同時(shí),也讓學(xué)生在溫馨有愛的環(huán)境中擁有更多的機(jī)會(huì)與他人進(jìn)行溝通交流,為達(dá)成共同目標(biāo)而一起努力,增強(qiáng)學(xué)生的社區(qū)自豪感。
