本學(xué)期學(xué)生主要學(xué)習(xí)代數(shù)各級(jí)的方程式、排列、繪圖和解答的方法。代數(shù)的學(xué)習(xí)重點(diǎn)也會(huì)因?qū)W生的班級(jí)而不同,學(xué)習(xí)范圍從簡(jiǎn)單的一兩步方程式到線性方程,再到二次方程和指數(shù)。到本單元結(jié)束,學(xué)生將會(huì)進(jìn)入序列的學(xué)習(xí)。

To take advantage of our recent reliance on computers, students have developed Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills. Excel is a tool that provides needed application support for students to report and analyze data across all subjects. Currently, students are focusing on the use of autofill, functions, and creating charts and graphs.由于目前學(xué)生都已經(jīng)在用電腦上網(wǎng)課,因此我們將會(huì)花一些時(shí)間學(xué)習(xí)微軟辦公軟件Excel。這一直是我們的一個(gè)教學(xué)計(jì)劃,因?yàn)閷W(xué)生將來(lái)在報(bào)告和分析任何學(xué)科時(shí)都會(huì)使用這一工具。目前,我們學(xué)習(xí)的技能是自動(dòng)填充、函數(shù)編寫和繪制圖形相關(guān)。

These skillswill be used together ontheirfinance projects that mimic real life experiences. Students will use Excel and their algebraic skills to compare different products. Students will make calculations in simple and compound interest, and some with more advanced skills will be able to look at basic loans or annuities. Studentsinterested in pure mathematicswill be able to study the natural exponent e, as they learn about calculating continuousinterest.這些技能將在他們的金融項(xiàng)目中發(fā)揮重要作用,并與現(xiàn)實(shí)生活息息相關(guān)。屆時(shí)學(xué)生們將使用 Excel 和代數(shù)技能來(lái)比較不同的產(chǎn)品。這也將涉及到單利和復(fù)利的計(jì)算,以及更高程度的學(xué)生能夠查看基本貸款或年金。對(duì)于對(duì)純數(shù)學(xué)更感興趣的學(xué)生,在學(xué)習(xí)連續(xù)利率的時(shí)候?qū)⒂袡C(jī)會(huì)研究自然指數(shù) e。
