VPA的個性化學習
VPA實施語言分流,進一步實現個性化學習
在VPA,我們的使命和愿景是,培養具有國際視野,并以中華傳統為傲的雙語學習者。因此,培養學生作為世界公民和使他們全人發展,必須提升學生的創造性思維和讀寫及溝通能力。
為達使命,VPA在課程中實施以下措施:
每個年級分流為兩到三個組別,針對學生在英語發展方面的不同而實行個性化學習。由于班級內學生語言能力多樣化,個性化分流能確保學生在語言學習中,得到必要的支援和適當的資源。
此外,每周六節英語課中,有四節沉浸式伙伴學習,既能豐富語言環境,又可以鼓勵學生多運用英語。
參照姐妹學校香港VSA的教學模式,VPA的IB課程和探究式學習將由兩位教師(中文和英文)授課和帶領,確保學生的雙語學習。通過探究過程,學生有機會運用語文進行研究、計劃、組織、交流和展示發現和想法。我們的目標是讓學生在現實環境中學習語文,并在不同的語景下,適當地運用語言。

About VPA
As the sister school of VSA, VPA is a high-quality bilingual school with a nine-year system from primary school to middle school, follows the mission of virtue, positiviry, and action.We are committed to developing future global leaders and inheritors of Chinese culture who are physically and mentally healthy and socially responsible, explorers and learners who are innovative, bilingual and experts in technology, and social leaders who are always caring and diligent.

Individualized Learning
VPA will implement language streaming to further individualise learning
At VPA, our mission and vision is to nurture bilingual leaners with a global perspective and pride intheir Chinese heritage. In order to develop our students into global citizens and holistic learners, it isadamant we develop their creative thinking skills and literacy and communication skills.
With these objectives enforced, our school will be implementing the following measures in ourcurriculum:
The division oftwo or three streams per grade levelis to cater to students’ individual needs in their Englishdevelopment. With the diversity of language abilities, the individualised streams willhelp ensure students are receiving the necessary support and appropriate resources in their languagelearning.
In addition, four of the six English classes per week are immersive partner learning which not only enrich the language environment but also encourge students to use English.
As per the practice at our sister school, VSA, in Hong Kong, our IB curriculum and inquiry-basedlearning will be conducted and led by two language (Chinese and English) teachers, ensuring thatthe students are learning bilingually. Theobjective is to allow them to learn the languages through real-world experiences and be able to makeuse of the languages in appropriate context.
