For their second Unit of Inquiry, the 4th grade students inquired into Human Migration. They learned thereasons for migrations and the causes and effects of various migrations. Then, each student conductedtheir own research project into a historic migration of their choice. They shared their learning with theclass using various mediums, including PPT, written reports, posters, and speeches.

In culmination of their Unit of Inquiry into migration,the 4th grade students are taking action! Immigrationto Zhengzhou would benefit both the city and SiasInternational School, but there isn’t a lot of informationavailable about the city online in English. The 4thgrade is helping to solve this problem by creatingadvertisements for Zhengzhou. Each student hasidentified pull factors that they believe will encouragepeople to move to the city. They are using the iMovieskills they developed in Media class to create videoadvertisements that will be shared using Sias’ socialmedia with the broader community and world!
