      IB PYP 數學課堂

      IB PYP是國際文憑組織為3-12歲的學生設計的課程項目,培養學生對多元文化的理解與尊重,致力于將學生培養成為積極探究、知識淵博、懂得關愛的年輕人,并鼓勵他們成為積極行動、富有熱情的終身學習者。

      ASJ融合課程的學習需要學生在計劃時間內,選擇、計劃、提出一個項目構思,通過展示等多種形式解決實際問題,課程的設計旨在激發學生的學習動力、學習興趣,讓項目真正落到實處。

      ASJ的IB PYP數學課如何培養學子的數學核心素養?今天,ASJ小學部數學組組長周穎老師為你解答。

      小小財商少年

      數字不僅僅存在于書本上,還存在于我們生活中的每一個角落。

      在超學科主題《我們如何組織自己》下,同學們學習了第一個融合單元《小數除法一》《小數除法二》《小數四則混合運算》《小數和分數互化》和《百分數》等知識點。

      在課上,同學們不僅學習了如何正確進行運算,分數、小數、百分數三者之間如何進行換算等學科知識,還會通過思考進一步感受混合運算的應用價值,體會運算符號和關系符號的重要性。

      G6的課堂上,就有同學提出了“想和好朋友聚會”,于是有了“財商少年”之《Planning a New Year"s Party》的小組展示,同時這一生活常見的數學問題作為融合單元的驅動性問題。

      學生各抒己見

      如何組織聚會,是本單元《我們如何組織自己》探究發現的重要環節。

      對此,同學們提出了探究問題:聚會整體該如何進行?食物部分該如何購買性價比才最高,單買還是團購?怎么裝飾能吸引更多的人來參加?請多少人合適……大家在組內提出源源不斷的問題,每位同學各抒己見,碰撞出思維的火花。

      同學們在深入探究解決問題,還會獲得查找相關信息的能力。

      雖然是小組活動,但每位同學也需要承擔單人任務,分工查找收集資料、整理分析。通過與小組成員的交流和探討,談論商定最終呈現的方式,不斷完善作品。在單線任務和團隊協作中,同學們都能體會到IB的十大培養者目標,這是實現同學對于知識點理解和運用的重要一步。

      聚焦數學核心素養培養

      經過探究和商討,G6部分同學通過PPT、海報、思維導圖等形式展示了他們的成果。該過程由作品展示、評估分析、復盤反思三個要素組成。

      在探究中,老師不僅是知識的傳授者,還是項目和課程體系的設計者;學生不僅是知識的接受者,還是項目和課程體系的參與者。

      本次融合單元課程聚焦數學核心素養的培養。在探究時,老師會把融合單元研究的問題和數學核心概念緊密結合,建立項目與學科之間的關聯,引導學生提出項目問題鏈,制定項目研究的路徑和方法,激發融合課程的學習興趣,進行整體架構。

      IB PYP的教學關注學生的學習思維以及能力的培養,掌握數學的本質。同時,教學中著重培養孩子持續性探索問題的習慣,在實際問題和目標之間做抽象的思考,形成良好的思考力、創造力和批判性,成就學生的多維可能。

      The IB PYP is an IB programme for students aged 3-12 that fosters understanding and respect for multiculturalism and is committed to developing students into inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who encourage them to become active, enthusiastic lifelong learners.

      The learning of ASJ integration courses requires students to select, plan, and propose a project idea within the planned time, and solve practical problems through various forms such as presentations.

      ASJ Primary Mathematics is committed to stimulating children"s interest in mathematics learning and cultivating quality study habits.

      Under the superdisciplinary theme "How We Organize Ourselves", students learned the first integration unit "Decimal Division 1", "Decimal Division II", "Decimal Four Mixed Operations", "Decimal and Fractional Reciprocal" and "Percentile".

      In the G6 class, some students proposed "I want to party with good friends", so there was a group demonstration of "Planning a New Year"s Party", and this common mathematical problem in life was used as a driving problem for the integration unit.

      How to organize a meeting is an important part of the exploration and discovery of this unit "How We Organize Ourselves".

      In this regard, the students asked the inquiry question: How should the party be carried out as a whole? How can decoration attract more people to participate? How many people are suitable... Everyone raised a steady stream of questions in the group, and each student expressed their own opinions, colliding with the spark of thinking.

      In the single-line tasks and teamwork, students can experience the ten cultivator goals of IB, which is an important step to achieve students" understanding and application of knowledge points.

      After exploration and discussion, some students in G6 showed their achievements through PPT, posters, mind maps and other forms.

      This integrated unit course focuses on the cultivation of core competencies in mathematics. In the inquiry, the teacher will closely combine the problems of the integrated unit research with the core concepts of mathematics, establish the relationship between the project and the discipline, guide students to propose the project problem chain, formulate the path and method of project research, stimulate the learning interest of the integrated course, and carry out the overall structure.

      The teaching of IB PYP focuses on the cultivation of students" learning thinking and ability, and masters the essence of mathematics. At the same time, the teaching focuses on cultivating children"s habit of continuous exploration of problems, forming good thinking, creativity and criticality, and achieving students" multi-dimensional possibilities.
