In the early morning of 14 February 2023, 20 students from the AP Centre, accompanied by their headmaster and teachers, departed for Washington, D.C., USA to participate in the 60thNorth American Institute for Model United Nations. This was the start of a 21-day research tour to the USA.

2023年2月14日清晨，AP課程中心的20名學生，在校長和老師的陪同下，啟程飛往美國華盛頓參加第 60 屆北美高中生模擬聯合國大會。也由此開啟為期21天的“赴美研學營”。

The 60th North American Institute for Model United Nations will be held in Washington, D.C., USA from 15-19 February 2023. To prepare for the competition, all students will be trained by professional mentors from the summer bridging program onwards.

第 60 屆北美模聯大會將于 2023年2月15-19日在美國華盛頓舉行。為充分準備此次模聯大賽，所有高一在校生從暑期銜接班起，就開始由專業導師進行模聯大賽的培訓及項目演練。

The North American Institute for Model United Nations (NAIMUN) is one of the oldest, highest profile, and most competitive model United Nations conferences for high school students in the United States and around the world. Approximately 3,300 students from more than 40 states and 20 countries in the United States will be hosted every year.

北美高中生模擬聯合國大會(NAIMUN) 是美國和世界上最古老、最高規格和最具競爭力的高中生模擬聯合國會議之一。每年都會接待來自美國 40 多個州和 20 多個國家的約 3300 名學生參加此大會。

NAIMUN provides an unparalleled and academically rigorous event for students interested in international affairs, diplomatic strategy, and public speaking.

NAIMUN 為對國際事務、外交戰略和公共演講感興趣的學生提供了無與倫比的且具有學術嚴謹性的模聯活動。

The 60th NAIMUN

The 60th NAIMUN had a total of 40 committees, the topics will be discussed ranging from the undiscoveredperspective of climate change to the ongoing mission to protect women"s rights in Afghanistan, which covers a wide range of internationally important issues, helping students understand the process of multilateral diplomacy, facilitating exchanges between students from around the world, improving presentation and debate skills, training critical thinking, teamwork and leadership skills, and also helping them to learn about different cultures, expand their international perspectives and understand the positions and situations of countries in history and in reality.

第 60 屆北美高中生模聯大會總共擁有 40 個委員會，其議題從氣候變化的未知視角到保護阿富汗婦女權利的持續使命等涵蓋眾多形式的國際性重要議題的討論，幫助學生了解多邊外交的過程，促進世界各地學生的交流，增進演講和辯論能力，訓練批判性思考、團隊精神和領導才能，同時認識不同文化，拓展國際視野，了解各國在歷史上或現實中的立場與處境。

Here, students will play the role of diplomatic officials from different countries, expressing their views and making the most of their talents on the United Nationsstage.

在這里，學生們將扮演各國外交官員，各抒己見，在“聯合國”的舞臺上充分發揮自己的才能。

After the Competition, ISA Wuhan students will continue their study tour. On 27 February, they will visit the United Nations headquarters in New York and meet with officials from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations / the Women and Children"s Protection Organization.

模聯大賽后，愛莎武漢的學生們將繼續開啟研學之旅。并在2月27日參觀訪問聯合國紐約總部，并與聯合國糧農組織 /婦女兒童保護組織官員交流座談。

The students will also visit Rutgers University, an American public Ivy League school, on 2 March and participate in activities on research topics in Artificial Intelligence, Psychology, and Business under the supervision of Rutgers professors.

學生們還將在3月2日訪問美國公立常春藤名校羅格斯大學，并參加羅格斯大學教授指導的人工智能，心理學以及商科等專業的研究課題的活動。

During the camp, students will also visit a range of top representative institutions, including Harvard University, MIT, Columbia University, Yale University, West Point, Emerson College(Top 1 in the USAfor Media and Journalism by College Factual, one of the top media schools in the USA), and Bentley University (Top 20 in the USA for B.A.Business).experiencing the academic environment of a world-renowned school.

研學營期間，學生們還會參觀一系列具有代表性的頂尖學府，包括哈佛大學、麻省理工學院、哥倫比亞大學、耶魯大學、西點軍校、愛默生學院（在College Factual的評選中，其傳媒、新聞專業均位列全美第1名，是美國最頂尖的傳媒學院之一），本特利大學（其商科本科在全美排名前20）等，切身感受世界名校的環境與氛圍。
