As a community that considers all of its members to be lifelong learners and in tandem with the current theme of ‘Sharing the Planet’, the IB School Teaching Team at ASJ participated in an exciting day of learning in which knowledge was shared and exchanged about the role that ‘Action’ plays in the IB programme.

考慮到老師們作為終身學習者，并配合目前的學習主題“共享地球”，東莞ASJ的IB部門組織老師們參加了一天有意義的培訓。大家互相分享知識，交流“行動”在IB課程中的作用。

Inspired by thought-provoking video presentations by Sir David Attenborough, who addresses the delicate balance of life on earth and one’s responsibility to the planet and post-open forum discussions about the concept of ‘Action’ with other experienced IB practitioners in the South China Network, the teachers made individual pledges as to the simple actions that they could take to help to protect the planet as global citizens.

老師們在觀看完大衛·愛登堡爵士一條發人深省的視頻深受啟發，視頻里展示了地球和每個人對地球應付的責任的微妙平衡。老師們接著在開放式論壇與中國南方網上其他有經驗的IB實踐者討論關于“行動”的概念，身為全球公民的老師作出承諾，他們從采取簡單的行動開始來幫助保護地球。

In order to foster the planning of dynamic learning experiences that would inspire action from the students, the teachers explored Howard Gardner’s concept of multiple intelligences, which focuses on the understanding that all people learn in a variety of ways, from spatially to interpersonally to logically.

有活力的學習體驗可激發學生的行動，為了促進學習體驗的籌劃，教師們探索了霍華德·加德納的多元智能概念，該概念強調每個人以不同方式學習，從空間到人際關系到邏輯層面。

In light of this, the teachers enjoyed the opportunity to partake in hands-on experimentation with clay, creating jungle animals and experimenting with green screen technology creating short films so that they could further develop their teaching skills to access different learning styles.

有鑒于此，老師們參與了黏土操作實驗，制作了叢林動物；還用綠屏技術制作了小電影，借此提高教學技能，認識不同的教學風格。
