Enrollment Requirements

According to Chinese laws and regulations, applicants must hold overseas (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) passports or Permanent Residence Permit (Green Card) and meet all requirements for admission.

School Introduction

學(xué)校簡介

Founded in 2020, Sias IS is the first international school in the Henan province. Sias IS is a partnership between the Zhengdong New District Management Committee and Sias Group China. It is located in the core area of North Long hu. The campus is more than 6 hectares with a total building area of about 90,000 square meters. It has world-class standard international school facilities, such as flexible indoor learning space, swimming pools, soccer field, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, libraries, and a purpose-built design. Thoughtful consideration was put into the optimal instructional use of the facilities to align with the International Baccalaureate program.

西亞斯外籍學(xué)校創(chuàng)建于2020年，是由鄭東新區(qū)管委會(huì)和西亞斯集團(tuán)共同創(chuàng)辦的河南省首家外籍人員子女學(xué)校。學(xué)校位于北龍湖核心地段，占地90余畝，建筑面積9萬多平方米，擁有世界一流水準(zhǔn)的國際學(xué)校硬件設(shè)施，如靈活的室內(nèi)學(xué)習(xí)空間、游泳館、足球場(chǎng)、室內(nèi)外籃球場(chǎng)、圖書館等。學(xué)校在校園建設(shè)上，認(rèn)真踐行以課程為主導(dǎo)，反推空間設(shè)計(jì)的原則，讓校園設(shè)施真正服務(wù)于教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)與學(xué)生。

Following the guidance of the mission statement, Sias IS aims to provide a balanced education system which creatively combines the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program with Common Core State Standards(CCSS). It also contains an outstanding Chinese program, Mother Tongue program and Co-curricular program, creating a high-quality, creative, comprehensive and bilingual education model.

Common Core State Standards (CCSS)

共同核心州立標(biāo)準(zhǔn)

The Common Core is a set of high-quality academic standards in mathematics and English language arts/literacy (ELA).These learning goals outline what a student should know and be able to do at the end of each grade. The standards were created to ensure that all students graduate from high school with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in college, career, and life, regardless of where they live.共同核心是一套高質(zhì)量的數(shù)學(xué)和英語語言藝術(shù)/讀寫(ELA)學(xué)術(shù)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。這些學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)概括了學(xué)生在每一年級(jí)結(jié)束時(shí)應(yīng)該了解和能夠做的事情。這些標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的制定是為了確保所有學(xué)生從高中畢業(yè)時(shí)，無論他們住在哪里，都具備在大學(xué)、職業(yè)和生活中取得成功所必需的技能和知識(shí)。

International Baccalaureate (IB)

國際文憑課程

The IB curriculum and diploma is highly valued by the world’s most competitive universities. It integrates international mindedness with the philosophy of whole-person education. SIas IS has selected the IB as its guiding instructional program because it cultivates a learner profile that most closely aligns to the school’s mission. In the Spring of 2023, Sias IS will complete the first step of the rigorous IB continuum by earning IB Primary Years Program (PYP) authorization. Throughout the 2023-24 and 2024-25 school years, Sias IS will continue to grow to become the first full continuum IB school in Henan having earned the PYP, Middle Years Program (MYP), and Diploma Program (DP) authorizations.

A Balanced and Rich Co-Curriculum

豐富的輔助課程

In Sias IS, the learning is not limited in the class and campus ,The school provides a wide range of After School Activities (ASAs), field trips , vocation camps. Students will have the opportunity to broaden their horizons while combining classroom learning to real life. Students will also have the opportunity to interact with students from other international schools in the Association of China and Mongolia International School (ACAMIS) .Beginning in the summer of 2023, Sias IS will offer its first international summer camps taking students abroad for widening their horizons.

SiasIS holds and attends special events to enrich the students" life at school, such as the Tree Lighting Ceremony, Literacy Week, Field Days and Children’s Day Celebration.
