當(dāng)我們對(duì)一件陌生的事物或者活動(dòng)產(chǎn)生興趣的時(shí)候,似乎總想去看、去聞、去觸摸,并嘗試與自己以往的經(jīng)歷結(jié)合。我曾經(jīng)在課堂上給同學(xué)們開(kāi)了一罐臘八蒜,所有的同學(xué)都躍躍欲試,想要一探究竟臘八蒜的味道到底有多上頭。當(dāng)然,有的同學(xué)很享受過(guò)程中的嗅覺(jué)體驗(yàn),有的同學(xué)則避退三舍,恨不得跳出十里之外。
在這個(gè)過(guò)程中,大家都在主動(dòng)分享各自的體驗(yàn)與經(jīng)歷,同時(shí)也對(duì)臘八蒜產(chǎn)生了各種好奇。臘八蒜為什么會(huì)變成綠色呢?從臘八蒜的名字就能看出其制作開(kāi)始時(shí)間,那到什么時(shí)候才吃呢?這其中包含了哪些帶有地區(qū)特色的習(xí)俗呢?這一系列的問(wèn)題涉及到化學(xué)、歷史、地理、社會(huì)文化等等學(xué)科。一個(gè)小小的活動(dòng),一旦激發(fā)興趣我們就能帶著好奇心去探索無(wú)限的知識(shí)。

When we become interested in an unfamiliar object or activity, we are always eager to see, smell, touch, and try to connect it to our previous experiences. This happened exactly when I opened a jar of Laba garlic in the class. All the students were eager to find out how good the taste of garlic was. Of course, some students enjoyed the smell, while others found it repulsive and couldn"t wait to jump ten miles away.
During this process, everyone was actively sharing their own experiences, and simultaneously it aroused their curiosity about Laba Garlic. Why does Laba garlic turn green? The name of the garlic can tell when it starts, but when can we eat it? What kind of local traditions are included? The series of questions involves chemistry, history, geography, culture studies and other disciplines. Starting with a small activity, once the interest gets ready, we can explore unlimited knowledge with curiosity.
A small action can raise students" curiosity. ISA Liwan cultivates and encourages students to explore in class and daily life and establish links with the real world as comprehensive inquirers.
一個(gè)小小的舉動(dòng),就能夠激發(fā)同學(xué)們的好奇心。愛(ài)莎荔灣鼓勵(lì)同學(xué)們主動(dòng)的探究和建立與現(xiàn)實(shí)世界的聯(lián)系,在課堂內(nèi)外將學(xué)生培養(yǎng)成為全面發(fā)展的探究者。

當(dāng)然,探索知識(shí)領(lǐng)域的過(guò)程,總歸不會(huì)一帆風(fēng)順。如果沒(méi)有興趣作為我們探索道路上的助推力,勢(shì)必會(huì)造成草草收?qǐng)觥o(wú)功而返的結(jié)局。而要想讓自己有所突破,第一個(gè)客觀需求就是你愿意花多少時(shí)間去跨越障礙,突破自己。當(dāng)我們沉浸于自己的世界,做自己喜歡的事情,便很容易忽略時(shí)間的飛逝。而只要有足夠的時(shí)間積累,我們也必然能在探索的道路上,找到自己的指路明燈。

Of course, the process of exploring knowledge will not always be smooth. If the interest cannot act as a catalyst for our exploration, it will inevitably lead to a hasty and fruitless ending. In order to make a breakthrough, the first need is how much time you are willing to spend to overcome obstacles and excel yourself. When we immerse ourselves in our own world and do what we love, it"s easy to overlook the passage of time. As long as spend enough time, we will inevitably be able to find our own headlight on the way of exploration.

隨著時(shí)間的積累,我們對(duì)自己興趣領(lǐng)域的了解也會(huì)從略知一二變?yōu)樯钪O此道的業(yè)內(nèi)專家。可能同學(xué)們會(huì)認(rèn)為,既然都成為業(yè)內(nèi)專家了,為什么還要學(xué)?舉個(gè)簡(jiǎn)單的例子,我們一開(kāi)始感興趣的可能是整個(gè)800人演藝廳,而后慢慢探索發(fā)現(xiàn)原來(lái)燈光都集中在舞臺(tái),而一個(gè)小小舞臺(tái)原來(lái)也有很多門道,很多講究。此時(shí),同學(xué)們可能會(huì)對(duì)其中一個(gè)微小的領(lǐng)域,產(chǎn)生更大的興趣,然后周而復(fù)始,不斷研究探索。最終你可能變成舞臺(tái)服裝設(shè)計(jì)師、視覺(jué)效果設(shè)計(jì)師、導(dǎo)演、編劇。當(dāng)然,你也可能就是未來(lái)站在舞臺(tái)中間閃閃發(fā)光的自己。
可見(jiàn),每一個(gè)從興趣入門,不斷探索的過(guò)程,也是挑戰(zhàn)自己,突破自己的過(guò)程。假以時(shí)日,也必將獲得新的成就。恰如孔子所言,“知之者不如好之者,好之者不如樂(lè)之者。”

As time passes by, we are able to gain a better understanding of the area we are interested in and become experts in the industry. Maybe some of us will ask if this is true, why are we still learning? For example, we may be interested in the entire auditorium at first, but later discover that the light rays are converging on the stage. In fact, this small stage might contain lots of knowledge. At this point, students may become more interested in a smaller area, keeping exploring it over and over again. You could end up being a costume designer, VA designer, director, or playwriter. Of course, you may also be in the middle of the stage.
This is also a process of challenging and excelling yourself. New achievements will surely be achieved if we seize the time. As Confucius said, "Those who know it are not as good as those who love it, and those who love it are not as good as those who engage it.”
