新生與萊克頓的遇見從懷著憧憬而來開始,一場期待已久的初見之后,相逢亦師亦友的良師,邂逅優秀的學姐學長。豐富多彩的體育項目,動人心魄的賽事活動等也將讓大家收獲同德一心的莫逆錚友。又一批心懷夢想的學子走進萊克頓,開始書寫他們的青春故事,為校園注入新活力。

/01 遇見,初見,一見如故
遇見萊克頓,開啟每一位學生新的征程。為了迎接各位萌新的到來,萊克頓營造溫暖迎新氛圍,為新生提供周到的入學體驗。教學與學術副校長豐老師特意為新生做了溫馨講話,提出幾點希冀,希望新生盡快學會適應。全人教育&教學副校長范老師與全人教育主管張老師展示了萊克頓的校園文化,向新生介紹學校的傳統活動,如學院制度,并介紹各種校園活動,如運動、藝術和志愿活動。這樣,新生就可以更好地了解他們的新家。
In order to welcome all the freshmen, Lucton created a warm welcome atmosphere and introduced various campus activities, such as sports, arts and volunteer activities for them.
生活部的老師們在新生到來的當天晚上便組織大家一起“破冰”,同學們借助有趣的團隊游戲形式,相互了解,彼此熟悉,建立起第一份友誼。這是他們在萊克頓收獲的第一份禮物,游戲愉悅的氛圍下,歡笑拂去緊張與羞澀,第一個在萊克頓入眠的夜晚,期待根植于心。我們不但致力于為同學們提供如居家般安全、舒適、健康的環境,更注重學生生活習慣的全面培養及心理的健康成長。
從容與平和貫穿在新生整個入校過程,如今他們完全適應了這里的節奏,內心逐漸平靜下來,隨著每天每周,他們的內心總能捕捉到一些不曾預計的美好。學生春風般的笑容也在告訴大家,他們在萊克頓的一切已漸入佳境。
Lucton organized a series of games for the students. This was the first gift they received. The laughter brushed away the nervousness and shyness. They are now fully accustomed to the school.

“校園環境很美麗,課程安排緊湊,CCA課程多彩,我想這些能讓我以后想起的不是只有成堆的試卷。當然,班里同學很友善,學習氛圍杠杠滴!“談論中Nick同學的笑容常掛于臉上,話語幽默,開朗的性格感染著大家。
"The classmates are friendly and the learning atmosphere is great! "Nick"s smile is always on his face, and his cheerful personality is infectious to everyone.
說起自己喜歡的心理課程,他侃侃而談,直言心理課程很少安排在IGCSE階段,以前的自己就對此非常感興趣,也在擇校的過程中,不斷去尋覓這方面課程的學校,并最終尋找到萊克頓。他還提到來到學校后,不再是一味地被灌輸,而是不停被引導去思考“為什么”“我該怎么做”“我如何去選擇”。這一切都符合他心目中讓他定心的學校模樣。
When it comes to his favorite psychology course, he talked about it with great enthusiasm, saying that psychology courses are rarely arranged at IGCSE. It all fits into his idea of what a school should be like for him to settle down.

Shirley 同學從小就讀于國際學校,即使全面均衡發展的她,也會生出疑問自己真的適合這樣的學習道路嗎?有問必有應答,遵從自己內心的想法來到萊克頓,尋找到一片適合自己成長的土壤,落地心安。
Shirley came to Lucton with her heart, looking for the right school for her growth.
她表示自由選課的空間是她堅定萊克頓的理由。這里的課程讓她很驚喜,課堂學習中老師們展現出來的教學耐心以及為課程準備付出十足的努力,幾周的學習讓她感到受益匪淺。師生比例也在她的考量范圍之內,萊克頓的小班化教學能讓自己在接下來的日子里得到足夠的關注度,更多去了解她的學習進度,讓她自己也能調整恰當的學習狀態。她說雖然不知道將來選擇是藝術方向還是其他,現在的她已經選擇了自己想要的學習環境,一個能自己抉擇的成長之地。
Shirley came to Lucton with her heart, looking for the right school for her growth. She said that the freedom to choose courses is the reason why she is determined to study at Lucton. The student-teacher ratio was on her mind, and the small class size allowed her to get enough attention and to adjust to the right learning situation. She has now chosen the learning environment she wants.

Jerry Y from Y10
“老師,請問上次戲劇的照片拍攝如何?我篩選過了,哪里有需要改動的地方告訴我就好。”Jerry 同學開口便主動問詢此次萊克頓年度戲劇拍攝的質量和進度。他在萊克頓精神項目中的參與度非常高,主動擔任起本次活動的拍攝工作。他會在第一時間下載篩選出心目中的精美作品提供給學校,在攝影的路上,他憑借著興趣精益求精。
"Teacher, how was the photo for the last show? " Jerry asked about the quality and progress of this annual show shoot at Lucton.
今年入讀十年級的Jerry同學,原先在頗“卷”的學校形成了自律和主動求學的學習習慣。如今的他開始在國際課程體系摸索前行,他表示,萊克頓就是自己理想中的學校。這里選課自由,喜歡理工類課程的他特意說到比起更深的理論,更傾向于小班化教學的手把手操作實驗,這是在以前無法擁有的體驗。這里還有著非常良好的外語氛圍,這正是他現在階段最想要的學習狀態。談到未來,Jerry同學對自己的高中生涯有著一定清晰的規劃和發展方向。
He volunteered to photograph the event. Jerry, who is in Y10 this year, he said that Lucton is the ideal school for him. He liked the science and technology courses and said he preferred the hands-on experiments in small classes to the theories, which is an experience he could not have before. When it comes to the future, Jerry has a clear plan and direction for his high school life.

Yifan 同學談到最近的校園生活,他表示自己來到萊克頓,有不少新體驗。成為了萊克頓大家庭的一員。在這里他有充足的時間和機會接觸喜歡的體育課程,發展自己的愛好。他驚訝于正在申請季的十三年級學長學姐們也擁有著一周十幾小時的運動時間,這讓他對高中生涯的未來十分期待,勞逸結合正是他心中所求。
Yifan has become a part of the Lucton family. He has had plenty of time and opportunities to get in touch with his favorite sports and develop his hobbies here, which makes him look forward to his high school life.
Tracy扎實的外語語言功底以及縝密的邏輯思維能力讓她學術表現上脫穎而出。入校后,稍有“社恐”的她在生活部老師的全方面照顧下,放下緊張,原來高中沒有那么可怕,這里好像只是多了很多同學的家,更多陪伴更多關注,個性化關懷無微不至。她期待這將來有更多的機會接觸各類公開場合的演講鍛煉,因為她心底的愿望是能站在咫尺講臺授課成為老師,為此學校也將為她提供了很好的平臺和表現機會。
Tracy is looking forward to more opportunities to be exposed to all kinds of public speeches in the future. The school will also provide her with a good platform and performance opportunities.
“老師,我,我來說。我有好多話說,我知道你們要找到我。”未見其人,先聞其聲,表達欲爆棚的William同學在破冰時期就和同年級的同學們打成一片,若說氛圍小王子非他莫屬。從南昌來到上海,其他同學面臨新環境總有一些困難有些慌亂,對于他而言身處何地都能融洽怡然自得,所以對于他而言,他更注重生活學習中的小細節,幾周下來,他在萊克頓覺得自己的時間規劃能力和獨立生活能力,都得到很大提升。“我真的有好多話想說,雖然我現在還不知道我將來想干什么,但總覺得這里能幫我一起找到。”
"Teacher, I know you are going to find me." William"s desire to express himself was so strong. He paid more attention to the small details in life and study. "Although I don"t know what I want to do in the future yet, I always feel like Lucton will help me find it together."
初見如故,來到萊克頓這所充滿愛和關懷的學校,理想之錨在此定航。“溫暖”是這幾位同學提到最多的詞,從班級氛圍、班主任、寢室文化,萊克頓從方方面面給他們帶來家的感覺,同學們來自五湖四海,卻和而不同!
當時只道是尋常,無憂無慮少年郎,我們在今日初遇少年,看著這一群少年從懵懂走向明理,期待他們從稚嫩走向成熟、從依賴走向獨立、從種下夢想到收獲成功。如果說人生是一段段旅程,那就是一個不斷遇到的過程。少年郎的肩頭應是草長鶯飛,挑起清風明月,楊柳依依。愿同學們在萊克頓,都能遇到知識,遇到友情,遇到成長。
"Warmth" is the word most mentioned by these students, from classroom atmosphere, teachers and so on.If life is a journey, it is a process of constant encounter. May all students encounter knowledge, friendship and growth at Lucton.
