自1993年設立以來,世界水日(3月22日)一直致力于提高人們的認識,并激勵人們采取行動解決水資源和衛生設施危機,即以行動解決全球22億人無法獲得安全用水的危機。
On 22nd March, we commemorate World Water Day. It was established in 1993 with the goal of raising awareness of the issues regarding the world"s water resources. It is a good time to consider how we feel about this really important resource, which is genuinely in short supply for 2 billion people.
今年世界水日的主題是加速變革,解決水危機。水影響著我們生活的方方面面,正因如此,我們每個人都應該有所行動。在此契機之下,科學組教學團隊在完成水主題知識的教學后,引導學生進一步關注全球水狀況,展開一場“水”宣傳活動,發揮自己的號召力和引導力。
This World Water Day is about accelerating change to solve the water crisis. And because water affects us all, we need everyone to take action. With this mission in mind, aftercompleting the syllabus content on the topic ofwater, the teachers of the Science Department then guided the students to pay more attention to the global water situation, and launched a "water" publicity activity. In this way, we call for action.
我校IG1的學生們通過交流,根據每個人關注的主題之間的關聯性,組成了小組,選擇主題,進行主題的探究,設計主題框架,并將自己小組的探究成果進行展示,發出自己的倡議。
Through communication, IG1 students in our school formed groups according to the aspects in whicheach person is interested. Each group thenchose and exploreda topic, designed the topicframework, and displayed the results of their findings intheir own group and proposedtheir own initiatives.

小組演講為全英文,并由同學們和老師們從四個維度進行打分。整場演講體現的是學生們的研究能力,公眾演講能力,審美能力,互動能力以及更重要的協作能力。
The English presentation is scoredbystudents and teachers in 4 criteria, which fully testtheir research, public speaking, aesthetic andinteraction skills and most importantly their collaboration ability.

在協和,我們注重培養學生們的國際思維和全球視野,引導學生成為全球公民。在本次研究分享之后,我們還將在六月,帶領所有IG1學生深入水文水資源管理署,完成更進一步的校外學習和探究,敬請期待。
At SUIS, we focus on cultivating students" international mindedness and global perspective, and lead them to become international citizens. After the presentations of their findings, we will take all IG1 students to Shanghai Water Authorityin Pudong in June to complete a further off-campus study and exploration.
