Open Day in Review 開放日回顧

The Open Day at ASJ (Dongguan) on April 8th was undoubtedly a successful, professional and impressive event. The event began with the arrival of the Alumni Association of the Greater Bay Area of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the opening speech by the Chief Principal, Mr. Jonathan LAI, who extended a warm welcome to all the guests present and shared the vision of ASJ (Dongguan) and its mission to provide quality and diversified learning opportunities for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and international students.

東莞暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校4月8日的開放日毫無(wú)疑問是一場(chǎng)成功的、專業(yè)的、并且讓人印象深刻的活動(dòng)。活動(dòng)在香港中文大學(xué)粵港澳大灣區(qū)校友會(huì)校慶交流團(tuán)的到訪以及總校長(zhǎng)賴炳華先生的歡迎致辭中拉開帷幕，賴校長(zhǎng)向在場(chǎng)全場(chǎng)來(lái)賓致以了熱烈的歡迎，并分享了東莞ASJ的辦學(xué)愿景以及為港澳臺(tái)僑及外籍人員子女提供優(yōu)質(zhì)多元化學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會(huì)的使命。

In addition to the Chief Principal’s opening speech, during the presentation, each department gave a briefing on the theircurriculum, electives, and all aspects of student life on campus, which gave parents a comprehensive overview of our school.

除了總校長(zhǎng)的精彩致辭，在接下來(lái)宣講會(huì)過(guò)程中，各個(gè)學(xué)部分別進(jìn)行了教學(xué)說(shuō)明，向家長(zhǎng)全面介紹了學(xué)校的課程體系、選修課情況以及學(xué)生的校園生活的方方面面，讓家長(zhǎng)們對(duì)我校有了更清晰的了解。

The “Demo Classes” was also one of the highlights of this event. The classes were a realistic reproduction of our school’s daily teaching, allowing the students and parents to step into the classroom, interact with the teachers and experience authentic ASJ teaching.

本次安排的體驗(yàn)課堂也是活動(dòng)的一大亮點(diǎn)，課堂真實(shí)還原了東莞ASJ的日常教學(xué)，讓到場(chǎng)的孩子及家長(zhǎng)能夠走進(jìn)教室，與學(xué)校教師近距離互動(dòng)，感受學(xué)校原汁原味的教學(xué)氛圍。

We sincerely thank all the families who participated and made this event so wonderful! With past successes, we would also like to invite more families to participate in our next Open Day and Admissions Examination on May 1st, where parents and children can have a meaningful day exploring ASJ (Dongguan) together.

Examination Arrangement

╱ 入學(xué)考試安排 ╱

*Paper tests are NOT required for the Students from Foundation to Grade 1.

托班至一年級(jí)的學(xué)生無(wú)需參加筆試

*Examination Fee for Grade 2 to Grade 12 students：RMB 500 (cannot be transferred or refunded)

二年級(jí)至十二年級(jí)的入學(xué)考試需收取考試費(fèi)人民幣500元（不轉(zhuǎn)讓、不退還）

*The second interview will be scheduled on another date, details will be issued in due course.

第二輪面試日期會(huì)在學(xué)生通過(guò)第一輪考試后另行通知

1.School-age students from Hong Kong and Macao: required Hong Kong or Macao permanent (non-permanent) identity card, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, or Residence Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Residents.

1、香港、澳門籍適齡學(xué)生：持有香港或澳門永久性（非永久性）居民身份證、《港澳居民來(lái)往內(nèi)地通行證》或《港澳居民居住證》

2.School-age students from Taiwan: required Taiwan identity card, Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, or Residence Permit for Taiwan residents.

2、臺(tái)灣籍適齡學(xué)生：持有在臺(tái)灣居住的有效身份證明、《臺(tái)灣居民來(lái)往大陸通行證》或《臺(tái)灣居民居住證》

3. School-age international students: required passport or certificate of Permanent Residence (Green Card).

3、外籍適齡學(xué)生：持有外國(guó)護(hù)照或永久居留權(quán)證明（綠卡）
