本學期伊始,武漢愛莎文華中學部傳來好消息,有一位七年級的同學榮獲了楚才作文大賽一等獎!如果說有一種優秀叫“別人家的孩子”,那么,詹紫然當之無愧這個頭銜。
班主任楊晉銘老師發來一長串詹紫然曾經獲得的獎項名稱,然而僅從這些獲獎的頭銜里,我們無法真正認識她。很難用幾個簡單詞語概括這位“非典型文學少女”,當你坐在來仔細聆聽,你會發現她擁有獨特又珍貴的聲音。

At the beginning of this semester, there was good news from ISA Wuhan Secondary School. A grade seven student named Ziran Zhan(Cici) won first prize in the Chucai Composition Contest. If there is excellence called "other people"s children", then Ziran deserves this title.
The homeroom teacher, Nicole Yang, presented a long list of awards that Ziran had won, but we cannot truly know her from these titles alone. It is difficult to summarize this "special literary girl" in a few simple words. When you sit down and listen carefully, you will discover that she has a unique and precious voice.

未見詹紫然時,腦海里便對她有了一些想象,愛讀書寫作的文學少女大概會戴著一副金絲眼鏡,文靜又乖巧的樣子。初見她時,這些特征全部得到了印證,但隨著深入溝通,她有著在這個年紀不同于他人的沉穩與平和。
談及擅長的寫作時,她表示因為熱愛所以愿意付出。從二年級,詹紫然開始便積累好詞好句寫感悟,一日不落,幾年下來已有好幾大本。她半開玩笑地說:“我可能不是你們想象的那種天賦型選手,想寫出好的文章也并不是那么容易,要說自己有什么特點和優勢,那就是努力和認真吧。”

Before I met Ziran, I imagined her to be a literary girl who loves reading and writing, wearing gold-rimmed glasses, and looking gentle and obedient. When I first met her, all these characteristics were confirmed, but as we communicated more, I discovered her calmness and composure at this age differ from her peers.
When talking about her writing skills, she said she is willing to work hard because she loves it. Since the second grade, Ziran has been building up her literary vocabulary to describe her feelings, without missing a day. After several years, she has compiled several large volumes of her. Half-jokingly, she said, "I may not be the talented type of player you imagine, and it is not easy to write good articles. If I have any characteristics and advantages, it is hard work and seriousness."

她說:“每當我讀不同的文學作品時,我好像都能體會到不同的人生經歷,這種感覺特別奇妙。寫作也是一件令我享受的事情,可以隨性地表達自己,甚至是自我放松的一種方式。”正如巴金所說:“我寫作不是我有才華,是因為我有感情“。所以真正熱愛寫作的人大抵都懷著一顆誠摯的心。

She said, "Whenever I read different literary works, I encounter different life experiences, which is particularly wonderful. Writing is also something that I enjoy, I can express myself freely, and even relax in a way." As Jin Ba said, "I write not because I have talent, but because I have emotions." 七年級的語文老師蘇長鴻博士在談及詹紫然時,滿是掩飾不住地欣賞和喜悅。在蘇博士眼中,比參賽獲獎更值得高興的是詹紫然在學術膽識上有了很強的突破,并有著很強的獨立思考的能力,這兩點在IB課程中都至關重要。
蘇博士說:“詹紫然在課堂和課后作業的完成中都有很強的專注力,在讀書分享會中也都能看到她非常富有見地的邏輯論證和思考,她能在散文分析中詳細地通過多個角度舉證并展開解讀,且加以論證文本的美學效果和語意建構模式。”

Dr. Changhong Su, the Chinese language teacher for seventh grade, speaks highly of Ziran with evident admiration and delight. According to Dr. Su, Ziran"s academic courage and strong independent thinking abilities are more valuable than her competitive achievements. These two qualities are crucial in the IB curriculum.
Ziran demonstrated a great level of focus in completing her coursework and homework, as well as providing insightful logic and reasoning during book-sharing sessions. She also excelled in analyzing prose, providing multiple angles of interpretation, and effectively demonstrating the aesthetic effects and language construction patterns of the text.

蘇博士特別感嘆道:“從她書面的字里行間,我們能看到這個孩子內心的細膩,這份細膩經常打動我,可謂細節的力量是具有穿透力的。有時候我在想,也只有我中學時代才有像紫然一樣的筆觸,從某種意義上講,在書面和口語表達的精致上,我感覺我自己都要向紫然學習”。
在IB文學的學術探究中,蘇博士的學術經驗也為詹紫然提供了更多的可能性,讓她從文學的理性和文學創作的感性思維上都得到了發展,這正是語文課程的互相建構和教學相長。

Dr. Su exclaimed, "From the words and lines in her writings, we can see the delicacy of this child"s heart. This delicacy often moves me, and it can be said that the power of details is penetrating. Sometimes I think that only during my middle school years did I have the same writing style as Ziran. In a sense, in terms of the exquisiteness of written and oral expression, I feel that I myself should learn from Ziran."
In the academic exploration of IB literature, Dr. Su"s academic experience also provides more possibilities for Ziran, allowing her to develop both rational and creative thinking in literary creation. This is exactly the mutual construction and teaching of the Chinese language curriculum.

隨著訪談的深入,詹紫然開始熱絡地和我們聊起她喜愛的日本動漫《排球少年》。此時的她和大多數中學生一樣,兩眼放光的講述著動漫里喜愛的人物。她說:“這部動漫里我最愛的就是孤爪研磨和及川徹,我為他們對排球的堅持和熱血而感動,所以我在課外開始學習排球,我也想擁有屬于自己的熱血沸騰。
在學校提供的CCA課程里,詹紫然還選擇了英語演講,她表示這門課對自己來說是個挑戰,課下要花很多時間和精力練習口語,但她也十分享受自己進步的過程。

"As the interview deepened, Ziran began to talk enthusiastically about her favorite Japanese anime, "Haikyuu!!". At this point, she was like most middle school students, talking fervently about the characters she loved in the anime. She said, "My favorite characters in this anime are Kageyama Tobio and Oikawa Tooru. I was moved by their perseverance and passion for volleyball, so I started learning volleyball outside of school. I also want to have my own passion and enthusiasm."
In addition to volleyball, Ziran also chose English public speaking as her CCA course at school. She said that this course was a challenge for her and required a lot of time and effort to practice speaking skills, but she also enjoyed the process of improving herself."

當我們在書法教室的訪談快結束時,Cindy和Celina走進來邀請詹紫然一起練習書法,三位女孩便開始享受這難得的墨韻時光。古靈精怪的Celina打趣道:“老師你別看詹紫然(Cici)外表文靜,其實她和我們在一起的特別瘋,不過她脾氣很好,同學們都愿意和她玩。”
Cindy表示詹紫然(Cici)是個非常友善的女生,她會主動邀請新同學和低年級的同學們參加我們的院舍活動,非常照顧他們。學校每周都舉行不同主題的院舍活動,比如“友善”、“愛”、“反思”等,同學們突破學部和年級的限制,與更多人一起展開研究,他們之間產生更緊密的聯結,也有增強他們的社群意識。

As our interview in the calligraphy classroom was coming to an end, Cindy and Celina walked in and invited Ziran(Cici)to practice calligraphy together. The three girls enjoyed this rare moment of ink and brush. The mischievous Celina joked, "Don"t be fooled by Cici"s quiet appearance. She is actually very crazy when she"s with us, but she has a good temper and everyone likes to play with her."
Cindy said that Cici is a very friendly girl who actively invites new and younger students to participate in our dormitory activities and takes care of them. The school holds different themed dormitory activities every week, such as "Friendship", "Love", "Reflection", etc. Students break through the limits of departments and grades, conduct research together with more people, and establish closer connections among themselves, enhancing their sense of community.

As Ziran"s mother said when talking about her reasons for choosing ISA: "I value ISA IB education philosophy and four core values the most. I hope my child can grow up here to become a person with empathy, reflection, tolerance, and determination, a responsible and accountable young person of the new era, and pursue their own ideals on campus."
We cannot share every story of Ziran in one article, but she always stays true to herself, constantly exploring her inner passion, and sharing her brilliant moments on the path of growth. We hope to share them with every ISA student and illuminate the brilliance in your heart.
