In order to promote the Chinese traditional culture and to deepen the Chinese heritage roots, the Dongguan-Taiwan Primary Students Chinese Poetry Recital Competition was held at ASJ (Dongguan) on April 16th.

為傳承和弘揚(yáng)中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化，加深兩岸同胞對(duì)中華民族一脈相承的歷史文化的共識(shí)，東莞市莞臺(tái)小學(xué)生中華經(jīng)典誦讀大賽于4月16日在東莞暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校隆重舉行。

The event was led by the Dongguan Office of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs and the Dongguan Education Bureau, and organised by the Dongguan-Taiwan Economic and Cultural Exchange Centre, with strong support from the Art Centre of Dongguan TV Station, the Dongguan Language and Literature Association and other relevant departments.

本次活動(dòng)由東莞市臺(tái)港澳事務(wù)局、東莞市教育局指導(dǎo)，東莞市莞臺(tái)經(jīng)濟(jì)文化交流中心主辦，同時(shí)受到東莞廣播電視臺(tái)文藝中心、東莞市語(yǔ)言文字工作協(xié)會(huì)等相關(guān)部門(mén)的大力支持。

Ten teams from schools in Dongguan were selected for the final round, and more than 300 teachers and students and parents watched the competition on-site, which was also broadcast live on "Zhi Dongguan", the official platform of Dongguan TV Station, allowing more audiences to experience the charm of excellent Chinese traditional culture together.

據(jù)了解，共有10所學(xué)校的隊(duì)伍入圍了本次決賽，現(xiàn)場(chǎng)共有300多名師生以及家長(zhǎng)觀(guān)賽，比賽同樣通過(guò)直播的形式在東莞廣播電視臺(tái)官方APP “知東莞”進(jìn)行傳播，讓更多人一起感受中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化之美。

The event was started by the beautifully-played instrumental performance by the ASJ (Dongguan) Grade 10 students, followed by 10 school teams to perform on stage. All the contestants fully demonstrated their talents and brought a feast for the ears with standard pronunciation, appropriate emotions and natural expressions, which received loud applause.

在東莞ASJ精心準(zhǔn)備暖場(chǎng)節(jié)目過(guò)后，10所學(xué)校的朗誦隊(duì)伍逐一登場(chǎng)，選手們發(fā)音標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、情緒得當(dāng)、表達(dá)自然，充分展示了自己的才藝，為大家?guī)?lái)了一場(chǎng)聽(tīng)覺(jué)盛宴，受到了熱烈的歡迎和掌聲。

The poetry recital finals were intense and competitive. ASJ (Dongguan) team won the First Prize fortheir performance of "Chinese Heart ? Chinese Poetry", and other teams also achieved excellent results. Congratulations to all the participants!

經(jīng)過(guò)激烈的比拼，東莞ASJ詩(shī)歌朗誦隊(duì)伍表演的《中國(guó)心?中國(guó)詩(shī)》節(jié)目獲得了一等獎(jiǎng)，其他隊(duì)伍也取得了優(yōu)秀的成績(jī)，恭喜所有參賽選手

The Dongguan-Taiwan Primary Students Chinese Poetry Recital Competition came to an end in the midst of loud applause from the audience. ASJ (Dongguan) will continue to nurture our students" interest in traditional Chinese culture and to help them develop an international perspective.
