One-day experience for students from Zhongyi Road Primary School at Sias IS

On April 18, in response to the advocacy of international education in Zhengdong New District and to allow students to experience different culture, Sias IS welcomed more than thirty student representatives from grades 1-6 of Zhongyi Lu Primary School , Led by Guo Yali, Principal of Zhongyi Lu Primary School and Pan Na, English Teaching and Research Team Leader of Zhengdong New District, students had a one-day international school experience at Sias IS.

4月18日，為響應(yīng)鄭東新區(qū)教育國際化發(fā)展倡導(dǎo)，讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行跨文化溝通交流，在鄭東新區(qū)眾意路小學(xué)副校長郭雅麗、英語教研組長潘娜的帶領(lǐng)下，我校迎來了眾意路小學(xué)1-6年級的三十余學(xué)生代表，他們在我校進(jìn)行了為期一天的國際學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)和生活的體驗(yàn)。

During the shadow class, Students from Zhongyi Lu Primary School were impressed by Inquiry-based learning under IB Program. They participated in class discussion and learnt new knowledge through inquiries and experiments.

在課程體驗(yàn)中，IB課程體系下的探究式學(xué)習(xí)讓眾意路小學(xué)的學(xué)生們印象深刻，在老師的帶領(lǐng)下，他們和我校學(xué)生共同參與課堂討論，通過親自探究、實(shí)驗(yàn)和思考進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí)。

In the one-day experience, not only did students participate in class, but also engaged in various activities, including P.E class, Music, Visual Art as well as ASA. Throughout this experience, students from Zhongyi Road Primary School quickly participated in class and communicated with Sias IS students and shared their learning experience with each other.

此次課程體驗(yàn)，除了主班課程外，他們還參與了我校的體育、音樂、視覺藝術(shù)以及眾多ASA課程。在各種課堂上，眾意路小學(xué)學(xué)生和我校學(xué)生快速融為一個(gè)集體，相互交流，分享學(xué)習(xí)收獲。

Students and teachers from Zhengyi Road Primary School experienced classes that are totally different from theirs, which brought them many thoughts and feelings about learning and teaching methods. At the same time, Sias IS students also learnt about the great virtue from students in different teaching methods.

耳目一新的課程體驗(yàn)給眾意路小學(xué)學(xué)生及老師帶來了更多關(guān)于課堂學(xué)習(xí)、教育方法的新感受和新思考，也讓我校學(xué)生們感受到了素質(zhì)教育下莘莘學(xué)子身上謙遜好學(xué)的優(yōu)良品質(zhì)。

During the 2023 International Education Forum at Zhengdong New District in February, Zhang Ligang, Director of the Zhengdong New District Education, Culture and Sports Bureau, mentioned that promoting international education is an inevitable trend due to economic globalization. As a bridge of international education in Zheng Dong New District, Sias IS will strengthen communication with schools at Zhengdong New District and contribute to the development of education.

在兩個(gè)月前的2023年鄭州市鄭東新區(qū)教育文化體育局教育國際化座談會上，東區(qū)教文體局局長張利剛提到：推進(jìn)教育國際化是經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化形勢下的必然趨勢。西亞斯外籍人員子女學(xué)校作為東區(qū)國際教育橋頭堡，將會加強(qiáng)同區(qū)屬學(xué)校的交流溝通，為基礎(chǔ)教育國際化貢獻(xiàn)力量。
